Our family name was orginally "Pierich".
It was changed to Parise at Ellis Island in 1912.
Fredrick Feldman Parise came to America via Ellis Island, New York, in 1912 at the age of 12.
He was a butcher and a professional boxer.
He met and married Emma Catherine Hainly in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
He worked for Swift & Company.
